Translucent Records, Unemployment in Europe Achieve 16.3 Million
The unemployment rate in the EU remains touched record highs at 10.3% for the month position both in November 2011. Total of 16.3 million men and women do not have a job.
According to data released by the Central Board of Statistics of the European Union, cited from AFP, Saturday (7/1/2011), unemployment was spread in 17 Member States of the European Union in November after an additional 587.000 unemployed if compared to the same month in 2010.
This number does not change much if compared with the previous month. So is unemployment data in the 27 EU countries that remain at 9.8%.
If viewed as a whole in the 27 EU countries, the number of unemployed reached more than 23.6 million in November, up 55,000 people from October and 723.000 when compared to November 2010.
The highest unemployment rates are still held by Spain which 22.9% uphill so in November, compared with 22.4% on a year earlier.
While in Greece, are exposed to the most severe debt crisis, the level of pengganguran rose to 18.8% in September, the latest data that could be cited.
Austria holds the position of most low i.e. 4%, down 4.1% compared to the previous month, followed by Luxembourg and the Netherlands, each of which 4.9%, up from 4.7% and 4.8%.
